We are arriving Sarajevo by bus from Split. Is it easiest to change cash in Split or can I change from Croatian kuna to Bosnian Mark in Sarajevo? Or should I bring Euros?
Any help appreciated..

Hi.
You should definitely bring the money to Sarajevo, whether it%26#39;s Croatian kuna or Euro, because you%26#39;ll get a better trading course. It can be easily changed in any bank. In case you%26#39;re comming late in the night or something, don%26#39;t worry cause many places (hotels, restaurants, shops, etc.) accept Euros as well.
Have a nice trip and welcome. :)

Hi there,
I would agree with Jasmina, its better to bring Croatian Kuna to Bosnia and have it exchanged while you are in Sarajevo. Just go to any larger bank or post office and they will exchange it for you. When it comes to using Euro, it is widely accepted in shops etc., just make sure that you have smaller notes (ei. €5, 10 or 20), and the will give you change in Bosnian Mark (Convertible Mark – KM) (current exchange rate is: 1€ = 1.95 KM).
You also said that you are arriving on the bus from Croatia, just a word of warning, beware of the taxi’s at the bus station, they tend to overcharge especially if they see that you are not a local (personally I never use the taxi from the bus station, as they are bunch of cowboys), I just go out the station terminal and hail the taxi from the road, usually yellow taxi. See my previous topic regarding the taxi from the airport. Or you can catch tram that goes to the city from outside the Railway Station 200m away from the Bus Station (Tram No. 1 to Bascarsija direction (Old Town), make sure you buy the ticket first from the newspaper kiosk or the driver (they might accept €), as the ticket inspectors are cowboys as well.
Have a great time in Sarajevo.

Everywhere in Bosnia takes Euros as well as Marks so as long as you have Euros don%26#39;t sweat it.
