Medjugorje

Hi my friend and I are staying in Zagreb and would like to travel to Medjugorje, how do we go about this? Also what currency is used in Croatia, what do you get a better vlue with. Thanks

From Zagreb there is bus to Medjugorje at8:00AM, 1:55PM and 9:30PM. It is about 8-9 hours driving by bus.

In Zagreb (Croatia) you need to have Croatian KUNA becouse they don%26#39;t accept anything else. You can change your money in the bank in Croatia.

In Medjugorje you can spent even Croatian KUNA, EURO or Bosnian MARKS it is the same.

From Dubrovnik there is only one bus every day to Medjugorje. It leaves Dubrovnik at 5:15PM and comes to Medjugorje about 9PM. It cost about 15 Euro in one way.

From Medjugorje there is a bus to dubrovnik every day at 6:10 AM and it comes to Dubrovnik about 10AM

Thanks Robi

Can you just buy a ticket on the bus or do you need to book in advance?

How about looking into taking a short flight from Zagreb to Split and then taking a bus to Medjugorje from there? That would save you from spending a few hours in the bus. Also, some hotels and other places might accept Euros in Croatia, but for the most part everyone will accept Kuna.
