Hi,

We just returned from our trip a few days ago. We stayed in Mostar for two nights. (Came in late one evening and left early the second morning.) We stayed at Muslibegovic House. It was extremely clean, beautiful and the owner very friendly. His English is very limited. I do not know if it is because of his limited English, poor bookeeping, or what, but we had a little difficulty with the bill. You need to pay a deposit through PayPal, and the deposit was not deducted from our bill. In addition, the confirmation, and correspondence, did not state that he does not accept credit cards; cash only. It is a good thing I brought all of the e-mails and the PayPal receipt. Not wanting to be stuck with their currency, we had gotten rid of their currency. Since it was too late to go to the ATM machine -- we were being picked up momentarily --we ended up paying in Euros.

I still would recommend this B%26amp;B, but be prepared.

Hope you enjoy your trip.

Hi, London,

We stayed at the Villa Fortuna in March of this year, and LOVED it. Not only was the location awesome (less than a 5 minute walk to the Old Bridge), the owners made sure our stay was enjoyable (they also run a travel agency and were a great resource for travel in the area).

The room was lovely, clean and had all the amenities of a hotel (hairdryer, etc.). Breakfast was good and served in a great little room downstairs. There was also a terrace out back, but we didn%26#39;t spend much time there because it rained quite a bit (and the owners made sure we had umbrellas if we wanted to use them).

Their website is: http://www.fortuna.ba/villafortuna.html

Hope you have a great time - Mostar is amazing. Cheers!

We stayed at Muslibegovic House too a few days ago and it%26#39;s gorgeous - but it depends what kind of hotel you%26#39;re looking for, it%26#39;s very quiet there, a little oasis, shoes off before going inside etc. as it%26#39;s also a museum house. We were using cash anyway and the manager was happy taking a combination of KM and Euros and gave us change in Euros. You can book on-line direct with the hotel.

We stayed at Muslibegovic House also and it is very nice....comfortable and modern...the museum bit is interesting if a little contrived and we had no problem with payment . We had booked over the internet. Location is good.
