I%26#39;m putting together a trip to Greece and Croatia, that may require me to fly through Sarajevo and rent a car to drive to Dubrovnik. I can%26#39;t find direct connections from Athens to Dubrovnik, so this (or a similar trip through Tirana, Albania) are my main options. Is this possible - a one way car rental from Sarajevo to Dubrovnik? Or is it not advisable? Also how long a drive would it be? Thanks.

I think it is a very doable trip. My father and sister drove from Dubrovnik to Sarajevo this past summer with stops at Medugorje and Mostar. Check with Viamichelin.com to see about driving distances and times, but I think it would be about five hours.
Check to see if a car company will allow a drop off between countries like this. If not, maybe just look at taking the bus there? You are also right about connections between Greece and Croatia- there are just not direct connections at this point.
