Does anyone know how you get there without a car?

You can get there with licensed tour guide driver or by taxi. The price is similar. I can recommend you some of them.

Hi.

You could also get there by public transport, but it could be pretty hard to find. I recommend you take a taxi (and be sure to read the thread on this forum about taxis in Sarajevo). It%26#39;s also probably a good idea to call the family that takes care of the museum in advance just to make sure they%26#39;re actually going to be there when you come.

If you go to the Tourist Information Center near Bascarsija (Old Town), they have information on tours to the Tunnel. They are very reasonably priced and they will drive you there and return you back to the Bascarsija area. The guide speaks English well and is very knowledgeable. There%26#39;s also a man who runs a snack bar across the street from the tunnel. He offered to drive us from Butmir back to Bascarsija, after our tour for 20km which was a good price and we took it. He was very nice. It might be worth it asking him if he%26#39;s around. Otherwise he will call you a taxi.
