train station to city centre?

Hello,

I am travelling by train from Budapest, Hungary, to Sarejevo by train. I am not able, however, to find a map locating the train station. Where is the train station, and how to get from there to the city centre at 10pm? What is most advisable_ Thanks!

The train station isn%26#39;t far from the city centre. You can get a tram next to the station into town but i would recommend getting a taxi as they%26#39;re so cheap.

Grab a taxi from outside the station. If there aren%26#39;t any, walk to the main road and hail one. Tell them the destination and it shouldn%26#39;t cost any more than 6KM (to the centre). They may charge you extra for luggage but that will only be 1 or 2KMs extra.

Taxi drivers in Sarajevo are usually very honest, even with tourists. I only really ever had problems with the taxi drivers at the airport.

Good luck and enjoy your stay in Sarajevo!!

Hi Toronto.. Have you already going to Sarajevo? I just read this web. I hope it wasn%26#39;t late enough. I%26#39;ve gone there by the way u were going to travel its. But it had already done on 1995.. I think it was really amazing to travel it now.. Couse the situation was more better.. it will be more interesting if u go by bus from Budapest to Zagreb, Split, Sarajevo. I dont know what the conditions in 2007, it will be more easier, i guess. I love the scenes surrounding that country site. Hope u will be have attractive journey... cheers, mpokrini@yahoo.com
